How To Write An Article

Many people who are new to the internet industry ask "how to write an article properly"? This is not just a matter of minutes, but rather a long term concept which one has to follow. If you are not oriented to provide REAL solutions to the people who are going to read your article, it is likely that you will lose your readers, and don't grab their attention at all. There is no need to not share personal benefits and gain with others. People appreciate you for what you share with them, and not for the secrets that you keep by yourself.

Think about how can you help this person, and how can you deliver them maximum value within a post. If you are just getting started in the internet world, it will take some time until you got a feeling on how to write smoothly and clearly. Using correct grammar, sentence structure, and paying attention to punctuation and other factors is important for sure, but if you miss the point to PROVIDE VALUE you will lose readers quickly with using great grammar. A great article has a decent mixture of right grammar, getting to the point, optimizing for SEO, and providing value.

The best ways to write an article is to simply start and learn from successful entrepreneurs and writers how they do it. By describing why something works, stating the benefits of a strategy that you might have developed and also applied successfully, people will be tempted to want to know more about you and your story. It is all about giving on the front end, and forming a relationship with the reader of your document. If you managed to fulfill their needs, correct their leaks through great and solid information, all the sudden you will realize a STRONG increase in readers which come to your blog, and also by people who read your content through article directories.

How To Write An Article

Stop creating useless content, and if possible avoid spinning articles that are already published. Even though many people find this way time saving, and easier then to write fresh pieces of content, I can promise you that the long term effect and benefit which you could have with writing fresh pieces of content disappears. If you want to start practicing your writing style, you want to visit EzineArticles.com which is a fabulous place to start your writing career. It is the number one article directory on the planet, and if you submit fresh and new pieces of content, you will grow as a writer and as a person. Watch out for expert authors who can answer your questions and from whom you can learn. The best ways how to write an article is too simple: start creating content right now.

They also help in deciding goals for improvement, that is how the employee can be more effective and what additional training can be helpful.

This section contains the employee's most important accomplishments on the job, weakest job performance areas, areas in need of improvement, and other work concerns they would like to discuss. How to Write a Memorandum

What Is A Memorandum Or Memo?

A memorandum or memo for short is commonly understood to be an official document originating from an office. There are various types of memos. For example, in a business environment, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Association (MOA), are common. A memorandum is written to communicate or convey a brief message on a given subject or topic. Apart from specific memos, two of which have been cited earlier, a memorandum is usually not more than one page.

Notes On Writing A Memorandum

How to Write a Memorandum

A memorandum is generally made up of three parts. These being: Introduction, Body and Conclusion. Many office memos come in a standard and pre-approved format. The headings in a standard format are: To, From, Date, Subject and Reference. The memo may be addressed to an individual or a group of individuals. They are usually addressed by position or designation. Including a name and title if it is addressed to an individual is an accepted practice. Below the headings are the introduction, body and conclusion. In the introduction, the purpose or why the memo is being written and what would be focus of attention would be explained. The body will provide details of the subject such as what is the issue, what are the implications and other considerations including options. The conclusion will state what needs to be done, by whom and when. The memo needs be brief, to the point and clear. The general rule is one idea or issue per memo. If many ideas or issues need to be communicated, it would be better to call for a meeting or discussion. The target audience must be kept in sight. Key questions such as why the memo is being written, what needs to be conveyed and what is the expected outcome must be constantly kept in mind. This must be done before writing the memo, while it is being written and after it is completed. Be economical with words. Use simple language. Use the active voice. Use active verbs. The reader wants to read the document and move on to what needs to be done. Use the correct titles before the name such as Mr., Mrs., Ms., and so on.
Editing The Memorandum

After completing the memo, review it for accuracy, brevity and clarity. Read it out and check how it sounds or comes through. Check details such as date and address. These are important for ensuring that the message is delivered to the correct target audience and quickly. Additionally, it makes document control easier. Do not overlook the importance of correct spelling and grammar.

How to Write a Dirty Letter to My Boyfriend - What to Say and How to Think

If you and your boyfriend are apart for awhile, geographical distance between you - why not write him a dirty letter to let him know for sure that you miss him and are thinking of him.

But wait, why stop there?

Why wait until your lover is far removed to show him you care? Why not write him a dirty letter anyway, even if he only lives around the corner. The surprise and pleasure he'll get from receiving it will really make you extra popular (think gold stars in abundance here!) and will make him lust after you even more.

How to Write a Dirty Letter to My Boyfriend - What to Say and How to Think

But what should you write, how should you write, what would you say?

Here are a few tips and ideas to help you pen a letter that Nell Gwyen would be proud of:-

Write Your Thoughts, Not Someone Else's - write to your boyfriend about things you and he can identify with, that are either something you've done together or is a desire for the future. Don't make anything up beyond sexual fantasy, as it will strike him as odd and slightly unsettling. Think back to the last time you made love together. Who did what to who, what touches made you feel hot, how did he look or sound. Think about it, remember it in your mind's eye and then simply write it down on paper.

You don't have to be Shakespeare or an English major, don't worry about how polished it reads. the most heartfelt writing will always warm the readers passion whether it is spelt well and uses poor grammar or not - it's simply the thought that counts here.

Use Your Pen & Hand - When you write a love letter, write it. Don't type it and print it out to send or attach it to an email, use good paper and a pen. Type is impersonal and slightly bland. Your handwriting is you, a part of your character that your boyfriend loves and as such, is compelling and loving.

Add Character To Your Letter - Got a favorite perfume your boyfriend likes? A color of lipstick he prefers? Add these to the letter. A subtle whiff of your perfume will heighten his senses as he reads, bringing you closer to him, making him want you even more. A kiss from your lips wearing a shade of lipstick he loves and associate with you will make him smile and want to be able to kiss you back.

Share Your Wants - As you write and feel how much he means to you and how much you want him, try and transfer that to paper. Tell him in exact detail (explicit if that is what you both enjoy) what you want him to do to you as soon as he is through your front door. But be careful - men are specific animals and they take things such as you describing what you want him to do to you as actual! Only write what you really want him to do to you, don't try and impress and write something a porn star would scream at and run away from. You run the risk of disappointing him hugely if he finds it was not real!

How To Write A Song

Did you ever wish that it was your song playing on the radio? It could be. It is not that hard once you know the formula. With a little creativity, a little knowledge, a little luck and a good formula to follow, your song could be one of the next biggest hits.

Songwriting comes easy for some, and is very difficult for others. I have actually written songs in my sleep, and immediately upon awaking, written it as quickly as I could get the words on down on paper.

What I want to discuss here is popular songwriting, like the songs you hear on the radio. A good pop song, whether rock, country, middle of the road, is composed of two things: a catchy tune and some good lyrics.

How To Write A Song

There is a formula that most great songwriters use to write great songs. It regards the structure used to write a song. Granted, it is music and it is art, so the rules are not hard and fast. But if you want to increase your chances of getting your song on the radio, it is a good starting point.

Here is the formula. Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus.

Write that down on paper leaving plenty of space between each word and this will be your script.

Verse

The verse is the part of the song that tells the story, the part that leads to the chorus. Each verse is usually different, telling a different part of, or adding to, the story. It usually explains how you got to the things you are singing about in the chorus.

Chorus.

The chorus is the part of the song that is repeated after each verse. The lyrics are usually the same each time the chorus comes around. The verse usually leads to the chorus, and the chorus is usually the pay off for listening to the verse. Does that make sense?

Here is a lame example (you did not think I would give you my best work, did you?):

(verse)

My dog is sick, he's got a tick

He's my best friend, don't let it end

(chorus)

Oh, woe is me, can't you see

Woe is me, will I ever be free

(verse)

My car broke down, just out of town

It got towed in, but it's broke again

(chorus)

Oh, woe is me, can't you see

Woe is me, will I ever be free

Now, if you would kindly stop laughing at my lame song for a minute, I want you to think about whether or not you understand my point. Songwriting is story telling. The verse tells the problems, the chorus expresses the results or the emotions.

All right, now that you have that mastered, let's tackle the bridge. Ah, yeah, there is more to the song than the pain and the release. We need the diversion. That is what the bridge is; it is the diversion from the verse and the chorus.

The bridge may have a slightly different melody to it, or it could even have a different rhythm or a different tempo (Elvis' "Suspicious Minds" did a great job on this technique).

Let's go back to the lame song and add a bridge:

(verse)

My dog is sick, he's got a tick

He's my best friend, don't let it end

(chorus)

Oh, woe is me, can't you see

Woe is me, will I ever be free

(verse)

My car broke down, just out of town

It got towed in, but it's broke again

(chorus)

Oh, woe is me, can't you see

Woe is me, will I ever be free

(bridge)

Tomorrow is a better day, I've got a new truck on the way

My dog just had a flea it seems, so once again I'll live my dreams

(chorus)

Oh, woe was me, can't you see

Woe was me, but now I'm free

The bridge offers a solution to the problems I was having. You don't want to leave your listener on the edge of suicide, you want to give them hope.

Notice, I also changed up the wording of the chorus. This was done to reflect my new found joy.

One more thing on formula. It can be anyway you want, but most verses and chorus come in lines of 4. So, instead of this:

(verse)

Oh, woe is me, can't you see

Woe is me, will I ever be free

(verse)

My car broke down, just out of town

It got towed in, but it's broke again

it would be:

Oh, woe is me, can't you see

Woe is me, will I ever be free

My car broke down, just out of town

It got towed in, but it's broke again

The same goes for the chorus. Again, if you are creative, do it however you want. But for a new songwriter, this gives you some guidelines to scratch out and start carving out your new creation.

One more thing, do not make the notes to the melody so high that your fans cannot sing along. We are certainly all not Stevie Wonder.

Writing a Personal Philosophy and Mapping Your Goals

A desire without a plan is simply a wish, but a desire with a definite plan becomes the foundation for success. Coming up with a plan can be a daunting task. It starts with coming up with a personal philosophy on life and the things we value. How can you come up with any kind of plan, if you don't have a vision of what you want to accomplish? Furthermore, how can you come up with a vision if you don't know what kind of values and fundamentals you want to represent in that vision. The following describes a plan of ACTION that will assist you in coming up with a personal plan and philosophy to help guide your life.

Open up a Word document, Excel, Power Point, or simply pull out a note pad and pen (you have to write it out, its important). Write down what you value in life (love, happiness, compassion, honesty, etc). Now take those qualities and create a vision for yourself. Mentally paint a picture in your mind of what a future that embodies your VALUES and write them out. Vividly describe the ideal, don't simply think I would like a nice house, pick an exact house you want to live in, the area, the city, down to the style of tile you want in your kitchen. Take a picture of what you want and put it on your paper, pictures serve as a powerful visual guide and are stored in your subconscious waiting for fulfillment.

Now take time to write about both your VALUES and your VISION. The great thing is this is a personal document, while it should be unique, you are allowed to jot down ideas from other sources. Take your favorite quotes and insert them into this document. I personally have about three pages written on the subject of personal attitude. Some ideas about attitude I found from books I have read and others are my own. You are allowed to put anything you want in the document it is your creation.

Writing a Personal Philosophy and Mapping Your Goals

By establishing your values, you create a beginning. By creating a vision based upon those values you create your goals. The goals should stem from your vision. Here is an example (a rather materialistic one) that puts it all together. Let's say you value wealth, professional esteem, and a position of power. From there imagine yourself at a definite point in the future living (47 years old) a life that compliments these values. For example you may see yourself owning a jet for personal and business use. Your vision vividly describes a few goals. First, will need financial resources to buy the jet.

1. Goal: Have ,000,000 in the bank by age 47, by investing a certain amount monthly and earning a huge salary.

Next vision, you see yourself in charge of a large company influencing many people and leading them into success. You will need to climb your way up the corporate ladder to obtain our next goal.

2. Goal: Become CEO of XYZ company by the age 42.

These two goals should adequately satisfy our materialistic friend. However, you can see how these goals can actually create a variety of sub goals, beginning to form a strategy map. For example, achieving the ,000,000 may take investing a certain amount of money each month as well as obtaining a certain cash flow.

Achieving your goals should not be left up to change or luck, the foundation starting with forming a personal philosophy. Start today.

Flight Attendant, Cabin Crew Cover Letters - How to Write Them Effectively

Your chances of succeeding in your job applications is enhanced when you include a well written flight attendant cover letter along with your resume/CV. Recruitment personnel of commercial airlines are faced with numerous applications for flight attendant (cabin crew) positions. A carefully crafted covering letter should be brief and not contain too much information that it becomes a replica of your resume. The letter is your opportunity to introduce yourself and briefly mention your background, experience and expertise. This will draw the reader's attention, adding impetus to your resume, giving it heightened prominence.

Your letter should be summarised in 3 or 4 paragraphs and a maximum of 5 paragraphs is acceptable. Importantly, your letter should not be a copy of your resume/CV. In the first letter introduce yourself and refer to the vacant position, affirming your interest, giving reasons by briefly mentioning your background. You should explain that the flight attendant position you are seeking is a natural progression in your career development.

The main body of your letter should comprise the second and third paragraphs. In this section of your covering letter, mention your current / most recent position along with the demonstrable competencies and skills you used to execute your remit. Also mention the job position that preceded that role and the skills used in your daily workload. Mention how your roles have helped you develop, hone and acquire skills. If you are aspiring for a Flight Attendant Manager role, mention how you have demonstrated managerial and organizational skills in the past, not only in work but also in your leisure pursuits. You should highlight skills and competencies relevant to those used by flight attendants and cabin crew.

Flight Attendant, Cabin Crew Cover Letters - How to Write Them Effectively

These skills include:

Excellent customer service skills A diplomatic approach to dealing with dificult passengers Excellent communication skills A friendly, warm and assured personality Enjoyment and desire to serve and assist others Good mental arithmetic skills for handling cash and multiple currencies Ability to work quickly and proactively within solutions-orientated teams Ability to work effectively in an assured manner, working under pressure

If you write your cover letter along these lines, it will carry persuasive impact and create a professional impression in the mind of the reader. Conclude your letter as you started, in a persuasive and professional manner by re-affirming your interest in the position. You should already have researched the airline prior to making your application by visiting their website and reading their press releases and other literature. Find out about their corporate culture and the opportunities and level of support they offer for staff development. Mention what you know about the employer from your research and how it fits with your career development goals. Let them know you want to be a part of their organization. Employers notice competent candidates that show interest and demonstrate knowledge of their organization. In addition mention that the skills and qualities that are evident in your resume/ CV are highly relevant to the flight attendant vacancy. Also mention that your confidence, enthusiasm and commitment would be hugely valuable to the airline.

What is SEO Article Writing? - SEO Copywriting Explained

Many freelancers have questions about what is SEO; what is SEO copywriting; what is SEO writing. This article explains - in detail - what this is. And, how to make money from it as a freelance writer.

What is SEO?

SEO is an acronym for the phrase "search engine optimization." Search engine optimization is all about doing specific things to your website to drive more traffic to it so that you can increase online sales - and traffic.

What is SEO Article Writing? - SEO Copywriting Explained

What are some of these "things?"

There are many, but here we will discuss what it is as it applies to freelance writers. And, this means writing text in a certain way so that web surfers (ie, internet users) can land on a particular site.

What is SEO As It Relates to Freelance Writers?

What freelance writers need to be concerned with is keywords. What are keywords? Keywords are the words and phrases that web surfers type in when they search for things online.

For example, let's say you were interested in starting a foreclosure cleanup business. You may not know anything about it other than foreclosures are hot in the news right now and you are interested in starting this kind of company.

So, you log onto your favorite search engine, (eg, Google, Yahoo! MSN, etc.) and type in the keywords "foreclosure cleaning business" or "foreclosure cleaning" or "foreclosure cleanup" or some other relevant keyword phrase.

Note: When you type words into a search engine to find something on the internet, the words you type in are called a keyword (one word) or a keyword phrase (two or more words with commas in between).

How Businesses Get to the Top of Search Engine Results

When you type in these words and hit "ENTER", a bunch of sites pop up and you start to surf (ie, click on the results) and start investigating the sites to see if they have the information you need.

The sites that pop up are the results that search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, et al think are the most relevant to the keyword phrase (aka search phrase) you typed in. Companies pay a lot of money to be among the first two or three pages in the results that search engines return.

Why SEO Copywriters are So In Demand and How They Make Their Money

One of the ways they get to pop up in the first two or three pages of results is to have relevant text that contains the proper keyword phrases. And, this is where you as an SEO copywriter can make a lot of money. You write the text that their site needs to pop up high in search engine results.

Many times, companies will simply give you a bunch of keyword phrases and let you write what you want -- as long as it's a certain length (usually 300-500 words).

There are many freelance writers - hundreds of thousands, if not a few million. BUT, only a tiny minority know what SEO is and how to write this type of copy. And, this is why they're so in demand.

SEO copywriters have an in-demand skill. And, as more and more companies move larger portions of their advertising budgets to internet marketing, there is an even greater demand for their skills.

In the SearcheEngineWatch article, The SEO Copywriter: Wordsmithing the Web, William Flaiz, underscores the importance of an SEO copywriter. He writes:

"The role of the agency SEO copywriter is unique because.... Suddenly, the writer must optimize press releases, craft articles for social news, monitor social network communications, and develop wiki content.... a strong SEO copywriter is adaptable and capable of internalizing a lot of new information extremely quickly. These unique individuals have fast become the backbone of many SEO engagements. If content is king, then they [SEO copywriters] are the kingmakers."

And this is why SEO copywriters can charge a premium for their services. If you're looking for a way to start or maximize your income as an online freelance writer, then SEO copywriting is they way to go.

How To Write A Summary Of An Article

Are you looking for how to write a summary of an article? If so then this article is for you. Writing article summaries can be made incredibly easy if you have a template to follow. When I write articles for my business, I always make sure to include the main keyword phrase that I am trying to rank high for.

When writing your article summary, you want to wrap up exactly what it is that your article is about. Your article summary should be no more than 2-4 sentences long. Any longer than that and people will think that they're reading some of your entire article. The summary is supposed to be a short blurb about what your article is about - so keep that in mind.

You don't have to hire a freelancer to learn how to write a summary of an article. You can do it yourself. First of all it shouldn't be that long to begin with because people are fast readers, and are not interested in reading a long article especially when they're on the go.

How To Write A Summary Of An Article

So when writing your article, don't make it too long - and the same thing goes for your summary. Your summary should include your main keyword phrase so that you can rank high for whatever keyword term that you're targeting. Make sure that your article has a keyword density of about 2-3%, as this is a good number to strive for.

Hopefully you learned some insightful tips on how to write a summary of an article.

If you are a new writer, or even if you are a seasoned writer who is looking for new markets, it can be helpful to identify the websites that will pay for your writing. While these websites vary in the amount that they pay and the way that they determine how much they will pay for writing, they do have some things in common. Understanding how these sites work, exactly, can help you to make the most for your writing.

Here are some of the websites that pay for writing:

* Helium. While you may be reading this article on Helium, you may not yet know that you can make money on Helium. There are a variety of ways that Helium will pay for your writing. There are contests, the marketplace and other promotions, as well as pay-for-performance payments that can continue for many months or even years after you post the article. Helium is probably the most diverse of all of the websites that pay for writing, in that there are so many different ways you can make money on Helium.

* EHow. This website pays you for writing a "how-to" article. EHow lets the writer put in their article in a "steps" format. In other words, writing at eHow involves writing step by step instructions. EHow pays writers based on the performance of the article, sharing revenue with the writer.

* Associated Content. Associated content pays for writing in a couple of different ways. For some topics, they will pay a small fee up front (usually around .50.) For other topics, they will only pay based on performance. Unlike Helium, Associated Content pays based on the number of page views that an article gets, rather than sharing revenue with the writer directly.

* Constant Content. Constant Content is more of a broker than it is an article repository. Essentially, you can browse through the various article requests at Constant, and then write articles to fill those requests. You then get paid if the article is accepted.

There are many other websites that will pay for writing. These are merely several of the most popular ones. In addition, there are many web sites such as scriptlance and elance where you can find clients who will pay for writing, as well.
